I'm president of an international non-profit women's health organizaiton that counsels women about the alternatives to hysterectomy and the consequences of the surgery. Because I have been doing this for 25 years I'm in a position to notice trends. I have observed in the last 5 years or so a dramatic increase in women with uterine and bladder prolapse. There is a paucity of doctors for us to refer women to for prolapse, most gynecologists immediately recommend hysterectomy. Thank you for this information.
